To support Other Backward Class (OBC) students who are financially disadvantaged and pursuing secondary education in Class 9 or 10.

• Purpose: Empower students from marginalized communities by bridging the financial gap, encouraging them to complete their matriculation, and opening doors to further educational opportunities.

OBC Pre Matric Scholarship Uttar Pradesh: Benefits

• Monthly Stipend: ₹150 per month (for a maximum of 10 months).
• Annual Allowance: ₹750 per annum (for residential students).

OBC Pre Matric Scholarship Uttar Pradesh : Eligibility

• Residency: Must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Caste Category: Must belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
• Family Occupation: Dependent on individuals in traditionally considered untouchable occupations.
• Family Income: Annual income should not exceed ₹2,00,000.
• Applicability: All children of the applicant’s parents are eligible.
• Scholarship Exclusivity: Cannot receive other scholarships alongside this one (with some exceptions).
• Age Limit: 12 to 20 years old (as of July 1st).

OBC Pre Matric Scholarship Uttar Pradesh : Online Application Process

1. Visit the official website.
2. Click on “Registration” under the “Student” option.
3. Select the appropriate category:
   • For ST, SC, General Category (Fresh)
   • For OBC Category
   • For Minority Category
   • For children of parents in unclean professions.
4. Choose the relevant scholarship type:
   • Pre-matric (Fresh)
   • Post-matric Intermediate (Fresh)
   • Post-matric Other Than Intermediate (Fresh)
   • Post-matric Other State (Fresh)
5. Provide the required information and submit.
6. Note down the registration number displayed on the screen.

Login and Application:

1. Visit the official website.
2. Click “Fresh Login” under the “Student” option.
3. Enter your:
   • Registration Number
   • Mobile Number
   • Password
4. Complete DigiLocker verification.
5. Fill out the application form with:
   • Registration Details
   • Personal Details
   • Bank Details
6. Upload required documents.
7. Complete NPCI verification.
8. Download and submit the application form to the institute with all required documents.

• Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination.
• Caste certificate.
• Family income certificate.
• Bank passbook photocopy.
• Fee receipt number (if applicable).
• Enrollment number.
• Aadhar card number.
• Latest passport-sized photograph.
