This is a special program supported by the state government, designed for people who live in Uttar Pradesh. It’s called the Marriage Incentive Reward scheme. The government started this to encourage and support differently abled individuals when they get married. To be eligible, the marriage has to be registered with the state Registrar, and at least one of the partners should be differently abled. So, if you live in Uttar Pradesh and you or your partner are differently abled, you might qualify for this program.

| In the case of the young man with the disability: Rs. 15,000/- is provided. In the case of the girl with the disability Rs. 20,000/- is provided. In case of disability of both young man and girl Rs. 35,000/- is provided. | ||||
| Eligibility for Marriage Incentive Reward Scheme to Divyangjan | ||||
| –> Certificate of minimum 40% disability required. –> Both partners must be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh for at least five years. –> Neither partner should have a criminal conviction. –> The girl in the couple should be between 18 and 45 years old at the time of marriage. –> The man should be between 21 and 45 years old at the time of marriage. –> Neither partner should be an income taxpayer. –> The marriage must be registered. | ||||

| 1. Go to the official website. 2. Click on “registration.” 3. Fill in the application form with: –> Type and percentage of disability of both partners. –> Names of both partners. –> Current address of both partners. –> Marriage certificate. 4. Submit the form. | ||||
| Note: The desired information has to be given on all the points mentioned in the application form. It is mandatory to submit a hard copy of the online application form to the District Disabled Empowerment Office of your district within 15 days). | ||||
