Acknowledging the financial barriers that often deter workers and their families from pursuing formal training, the scheme provides reimbursement for training expenses and lost wages.
By closing this financial gap, the initiative empowers individuals to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
Kaushal Vikas Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Benefits
- Training Fees and Materials: The board will reimburse expenses including institute-fixed fees, textbooks, and other training-related stationery.
- Exam: Upon completion of training, passing an assessment test is mandatory.
- Wages: If a registered worker undergoes training, they will be reimbursed an amount equivalent to the minimum wage of an unskilled worker. This reimbursement applies only to registered workers, not dependents.
Kaushal Vikas Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Eligibility
- The applicant or their spouse/parent must be a registered construction worker with updated contributions.
- If the registered worker intends to undergo training, their age should be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Age exemptions:
- There is no age limit for dependent wives or unmarried daughters.
- Dependent sons must be under 21 years old to qualify.
Kaushal Vikas Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Offline Application Process
- Visit the following offices:
- Nearest labor office
- Tehsildar of the concerned tehsil
- Block Development Officer of the concerned development block
- Obtain the application form and fill it out completely.
- Attach the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Submit the application form to the same office where you obtained it.
