Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana Uttar Pradesh : The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for the marriageable daughters of beneficiary registered labourers and registered women construction labourers working in the building and other construction processes. It also aims to encourage legal arrangements like adult marriage to prevent illegal practices.

Eligibility criteria:

1. All registered construction workers who are currently registered members of the board.
2. The daughter of the registered construction worker or the registered female worker herself must meet the minimum age requirement as decided by the government.

Conditions:

1. Registered construction workers must have completed at least one year (365 days) of board membership after registration to apply for the benefit.
2. Applications must be submitted within one year of the marriage completion through the website of the Public Service Center/Board with all necessary documents.
3. For mass marriages, applications can be submitted 15 days before the scheduled marriage date.
4. Required documents must be attached with the application form.

Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Benefits

1. Standard Marriage Assistance:
   • Amount: Rs. 55,000/- (Rupees fifty-five thousand only).
   • Eligibility:
     • Marriage of the construction worker’s own daughter.
     • Marriage of a registered female construction worker.
2. Inter-Caste Marriage Assistance:
   • Amount: Rs. 61,000/- (Rupees sixty-one thousand only).
3. Group Marriage Assistance:
   • Amount: Rs. 65,000/- (Rupees sixty-five thousand only).
   • Conditions:
     • A minimum of 11 couples must be married simultaneously at one place.
     • Additional expenses at the rate of Rs. 7,000/- per pair will be paid to the organizer.
4. Dress Purchase Assistance:
   • Amount: Rs. 5,000/- each for the bride and groom.
   • Payment Timing: Transferred to the registered worker’s account 1 week before the proposed date of mass marriage.
   • Conditions:
     • If one of the parties is not present, the advance amount for the dress will be adjusted against the amount payable in a normal or inter-caste marriage.
5. Self-Marriage of Registered Female Workers:
   • Eligibility:
     • The worker must not have received this benefit under the same head by her/his father/mother.
6. Remarriage of Registered Female Workers:
   • Eligibility:
     • Marriage must be legally divorced or remarriage after the husband’s death.
   • Required Documentation:
     • In case of divorce: An attested copy of the court’s decision.
     • In case of remarriage after the husband’s death: A copy of the husband’s death certificate issued by the competent authority.
   • Assistance Amount: Equal to the amount payable in cases of group marriages.

Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Eligibility

• Membership Period:
  • The construction worker must have completed a membership period of at least 365 days after registration.
• Application Timing:
  • For individual marriages: Applications must be made within 1 year of the marriage.
  • For mass marriages: Applications must be made 15 days before the marriage.
• Aadhaar Authentication:
  • Aadhaar authentication of the daughter of the beneficiary laborer is mandatory.
• Children Limit:
  • The benefit is limited to a maximum of 2 children.
• Age Requirements:
  • The daughter and the proposed bridegroom must meet the prescribed age criteria:
    • Daughter: 18 years
    • Bridegroom: 21 years

• Application Timing:
  • Must be submitted within one year of marriage completion.
  • For mass marriages, applications can be submitted 15 days before the scheduled date.

  • Must be a duly registered member of the board.
  • The age of the daughter of the registered construction worker, or the registered female worker herself, must meet the government’s prescribed minimum age.

Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Required Documents

1. Self-attested copy of Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, or Family Register proving the age of the daughter and groom.
2. Marriage card certified and verified by the local village head, Tehsildar, or Councilor.
3. Adoption records for the daughter, if applicable, duly certified.
4. Family register or ration card of the beneficiary registered worker or equivalent record.
5. Self-attested copy of the Photograph of the bride and groom, attested by the laborer.
6. Employment or self-declaration certificate in the prescribed format, proving at least 90 days of work in building and other construction processes within the last 12 months.
7. Self-declaration letter from the registered laborer stating no benefits received from similar state or central government schemes.
8. Copy of the death certificate, if applicable.
9. Amount of benefit payable in cases of remarriage equal to that of group marriages.
10. Ineligibility for benefits if the registered laborer has received benefits from similar state or central government schemes.
