Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC), a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is announcing the “Garuda Scheme for Funeral Expenses” (GS-FE) for poor Brahmins in Andhra Pradesh.
Key details of the scheme:
- Financial assistance of ₹10,000 will be provided to cover funeral expenses.
- The scheme is available in all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The applicant must be a close relative of the deceased (Spouse, Son, Daughter, Parent, Brother, or Grandson).
The applicant should provide a self-declaration stating they are the legal heir of the deceased.
The applicant must belong to the Brahmin community.
The applicant should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹75,000.
The applicant should not have received any amount under any other government scheme.

- Registration:
- Click on “Registration”
- An application form will open
- Fill Out Required Details:
- Personal Details:
- Name
- Residence address
- Aadhaar number
- Ration card number
- Bank details
- Upload Documents:
- Photo
- Signature
- Certificate details
- Documents Required:
- Birth Certificate
- Residential Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste Certificate
- Bank Passbook
- Finalize and “Submit” the application
- Personal Details:
- Receive Reference Number:
- After submission, you will receive a reference number
Check Application Status
- Go to Services:
- Click on the “Services” link on the menu
- Select “Know your status”
- Enter Details:
- Enter the Reference or Mobile or Aadhaar Card Number to get the application status
- Fetch Details:
- Select the “Financial Year”
- Click “Fetch” to get the details
Download the Acknowledgement Slip
Access Acknowledgement Slip:
- Click on the “Acknowledgement Slip”
Enter Details:
- Enter the Aadhaar Card Number
- Select the “Scheme”
Submit:
Click on “Submit” to download the slip

- Passbook of SB Account in Andhra Bank or SBI (in the name of the Applicant)

- Death Certificate of the Deceased Brahmin (issued by any Government)
