The Uttar Pradesh Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana is a state-funded initiative aimed at providing financial support to construction workers who are not covered under the “Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana” and “Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana” through the UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Under this scheme, family members of construction workers can receive benefits in case of illness. These benefits cover treatment at any government hospital, autonomous hospital under the Government of India or Uttar Pradesh Government, or hospitals empanelled by the National Health Authority of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or SACHIS (State Agency For Comprehensive Health Insurance and Integrated Services) at the state level.

Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana Uttar Pradesh : Eligibility

• The applicant must be registered as a worker under the labor department.
• The beneficiary cannot simultaneously receive benefits from similar government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jan-Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan-Arogya Yojana.
• Covered family members include:
  • Self
  • Dependent parents
  • Spouse (Husband/Wife)
  • Daughter
  • Son (only if below 21 years of age)

How to Get Registered:

• Visit the official web portal.
• Provide the required details:
  • Enter Aadhaar Number.
  • Choose Circle.
  • Choose District.
  • Mobile Number.
• Submit the registration request.

How to Submit the Application:

• Visit the official web portal.
• Provide the required details:
  • Choose Circle.
  • Choose Scheme name.
  • Enter Registered Aadhaar Number.
  • Enter Registered Mobile Number.
• Click on “Open Application form”.
• Provide the required details in the application form:
  • Applicant/Worker details.
  • Child details.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Submit the required documents.
• Submit the application request.

Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Offline Application Process

Visit the following offices:

• Nearest labor office
• Tehsildar of the concerned tehsil
• Block Development Officer of the concerned development block

Obtain the application form and fill it out completely.

Attach all required documents in the prescribed format.

Submit the application form at the same office where you obtained it.

• Copy of Aadhar Card.
• Copy of bank passbook showing account number, branch name, and IFSC code.
• Disease-related details.
• Doctor’s certificate in the required format.

• Certificate proving unmarried status or age below 21 years for daughters.
