The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahayata Yojana (DAKSPSSY) is a Uttar Pradesh Government initiative designed to offer financial support to the children of registered workers pursuing technical education. By encouraging technical education among this demographic, the scheme aims to empower them towards a brighter future.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahaayata Yojana : Benefits
Financial assistance will be provided as follows:
- Degree Course: ₹25,000
- Diploma Course: ₹15,000
- Certificate Course: ₹10,000
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahaayata Yojana : Eligibility
- The worker must be employed in an establishment registered under the Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962 or the Factories Act, 1948 in Uttar Pradesh.
- The monthly salary (basic salary + dearness allowance) of the worker should not exceed ₹15,000/-.
- Benefits will be provided for the following courses:
- Degree Courses: B.Tech., M.Tech., BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, MBBS, and other technical degree courses.
- Diploma Courses: Polytechnic, PG Diploma (Post Graduate Diploma), and other diploma courses.
- Certificate Courses: Polytechnic, PG Diploma (Post Graduate Diploma), and other certificate courses.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahaayata Yojana : Online Application Process
- Access the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Board at https://skpuplabour.in/.
- Select “Shramik Application” from the homepage.
- For new users, click on “Register New User.” Fill out the registration form accurately and submit it. You will receive a unique user ID and password on your registered mobile number.
- Log in to the portal using the provided credentials.
- Choose the desired scholarship scheme. Fill out the application form thoroughly, ensuring accuracy. Upload a recent photograph of the applicant and submit the form.
- Obtain a printed copy of the submitted application form for your records.
- Submit the application form to your educational institution and the relevant factory/establishment for verification.
- Log in again with your user ID and password. Navigate to “Scheme Application Details” and upload a scanned copy of the verified application form and supporting documents. Save the information.
- After verification, the scholarship amount will be disbursed to your bank account. You will receive an SMS notification on your registered mobile number.
- Track your application status by selecting “Application Status” on the portal.

- Verified copy of the online filled application form for the scheme.
- Photocopy of the passbook belonging to the son/daughter or the worker, including the IFSC code of the bank.
- Photocopy of the certificate confirming admission or enrollment in technical education, such as a fee receipt or other relevant documentation.
