The Chetan Chauhan Shramik Krida Protsahan Yojana (CCSKPY), launched by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2022, is a pioneering initiative. It aims to nurture sporting talent from underprivileged backgrounds by providing financial assistance to children of registered construction workers.

This scheme offers a crucial one-time grant to young athletes who have demonstrated exceptional prowess at district, state, national, and international levels. Chetan Chauhan Labor Sports Promotion Scheme : Benefits

• District Level: ₹25,000/- lump sum per athlete.
• State Level: ₹50,000/- lump sum per athlete.
• National Level: ₹75,000/- lump sum per athlete.
• International Level: To be determined based on need and achievement.

Chetan Chauhan Labor Sports Promotion Scheme : Eligibility

1. The worker must be employed in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948.
2. The monthly salary (basic salary + dearness allowance) of the worker should not exceed ₹15,000.
3. The worker must have worked continuously for at least six months in the establishment or factory and must be in service at the time of applying.
4. The benefit will be applicable to the worker or his two daughters only.
5. If the worker is a female player herself, she will be eligible for the benefit.
6. Only workers or their two children will be eligible for the benefit.
7. The benefit is applicable only to players selected on or after March 23, 2021.

Chetan Chauhan Labor Sports Promotion Scheme : Online Application Process

1. Access the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Board at https://skpuplabour.in/.
2. Select “Shramik Application” from the homepage.
3. New users should choose “Register New User,” fill out the registration form accurately, and submit. Receive unique login credentials via SMS.
4. Log in with the provided credentials.
5. Select the desired scholarship scheme, complete the application form with accurate details, and upload a recent photograph. Submit the form.
6. Print a copy of the submitted application for your records.
7. Get the application verified and endorsed by the educational institution and employer.
8. Log in again, navigate to “Scheme Application Details,” upload the verified application form and necessary documents, and save.
9. Await SMS notification upon successful application validation and scholarship disbursal to your bank account.
10. Track your application status through the “Application Status” option on the portal.

Chetan Chauhan Labor Sports Promotion Scheme : Required Documents

• Attested copy of the online application form filled in relation to the scheme.
• Self-certified copy of the beneficiary’s bank passbook (with the bank’s IFSC code).
• Copy of ration card, family register, or other government record confirming the relationship of the dependent.
• Attested copy of the Aadhaar card of the beneficiary’s father and mother.
• Attested copy of the certificate from the office bearers of the recognized sports association confirming selection in district, state, national, or international games.
