The Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana, launched by the Uttar Pradesh government, aims to uplift the children of construction workers engaged in the informal sector by offering them free education. This pioneering initiative targets children between the ages of 6 and 16, providing them with not only tuition-free education but also residential facilities in specialized schools. Currently operational across 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh, the scheme endeavors to break the cycle of poverty by equipping these young learners with essential skills and knowledge. By empowering these students through education, the Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana seeks to enhance their prospects for a brighter future and contribute to their socioeconomic development.

Atal Awasiya Vidyala Yojana Uttar Pradesh: Eligibility
- Children affected by the Corona period, identified by the Women Welfare Department, Lucknow.
- Eligible for the Chief Minister Child Service Scheme (General).
- Orphan children and children of registered construction workers.
- Workers must have completed at least 01 year (365 days) of membership after registration.
- Each registered worker can enroll a maximum of 02 children for educational benefits.
Atal Awasiya Vidyala Yojana Uttar Pradesh : Offline Application Process
- Visit Designated Offices:
- Visit the nearest labor office.
- Visit the Tehsildar of the concerned tehsil.
- Visit the Block Development Officer of the concerned development block.
- Obtain Application Form:
- Get the application form from the respective office.
- Complete Application:
- Fill out the application form completely.
- Attach Required Documents:
- Ensure all required documents are attached in the prescribed format.
- Submit Application:
- Submit the completed application form along with the attached documents to the same office where the form was obtained.

- Parents’ Labor Registration cards
- Child’s birth certificate
- Mark sheet from the previous class attended
