The “Pension Benefit” scheme, initiated by the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (ANBOCWWB) under the Department of Labour, Employment & Training, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, aims to provide a pension to registered Building and Other Construction Workers upon reaching the age of 55 years.

Under this scheme, construction workers registered with us, who have reached the age of 55, qualify for a monthly pension of ₹1,000.

Pension Benefit Scheme Andaman and Nicobar Islands: Eligibility

  1. Residency in the Union territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
  2. Engagement in building or other construction works continuously for at least five years.
  3. Registration under the A&N Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  4. Age of 55 years or older for registered construction workers.
  5. Regular contributions to the welfare fund for a minimum of five years.

Portal Registration Process:

  1. Visit the online Portal at https://serviceonline.gov.in/login.do
  2. Click on ‘Register’ on the homepage and complete all required fields.
  3. Submit the form and verify your Email ID & Mobile Number using OTP.
  4. Upon successful verification, your registration will be confirmed.

Registration Process for Construction Workers (A&N Islands BOCWWB):

  1. Log in using your registered email ID.
  2. Enter Password & Captcha.
  3. Click ‘Login’ to access your account.
  4. Select ‘Apply for Services’ and then ‘View all Available Services’.
  5. Locate ‘Registration of Construction Workers in AN BOCWWB’ and proceed.
  6. Fill in all necessary details and upload relevant documents.
  7. Preview your form and click ‘Submit’.
  8. Upon successful submission, you will receive a registration ID.

Application Process for Pension Financial Assistance:

  1. Log in using your registered email ID.
  2. Enter Password & Captcha.
  3. Click ‘Login’ to access your account.
  4. Select ‘Apply for Services’ and then ‘View all Available Services’.
  5. Find ‘Pension Financial Assistance’ and proceed with the application.
  6. Complete all mandatory fields and upload required documents.
  7. Preview your application and click ‘Submit’.

Application Tracking:

  1. Visit the online Portal and log in with your ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’.
  2. Click ‘View Application Status’ on the homepage.
  3. Enter your Application Reference Number and click ‘Get Data’ to check your application status.

Pension Benefit Scheme Andaman and Nicobar Islands : Offline Application Process

  1. The beneficiary can submit the application form directly or through the contractor.
  2. Submit the application to the Beneficiary Registration Officer.
  3. Include all required documents with the application.

  8. Any other document as required
