The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities provides a grant at the rate of Rs. 1,000/- per month per beneficiary
Eligibility for Divyang Pension Yojana Uttar Pradesh
1. The applicant must be at least 18 years old. 2. They should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh. 3. A minimum disability of 40 percent is required. 4. Those already receiving pension, grant, or assistance under schemes like old age pension, widow pension, or similar, as well as individuals receiving free maintenance in government institutions, are not eligible. 5. The applicant’s annual income or their family’s income should fall within the poverty line definition. Currently, this is set at Rs. 46,080 per year in rural areas and Rs. 56,460 per year in urban areas.
